This is a view from the building Zona Pradera, you can see the main Boulevard Los Proceres. The building across is Transactel one of the fastest growing Guatemalan companies. Transactel is a Call Center servicing the US and Puerto Rico market. The Comercial Center next to it is La Pradera. Behind the mountain is where the suburbia growth is taken place.

Hi Cynthia,

This is not related to today's post but couldn't find any other way to get in touch. I'm wondering if you might be able to point me in the right direction. This is what I am trying to do:

I am helping to organize a variety of cultural events at my son's elementary school (kindergarten thru 5th grade). I think it would be a lot of fun if we could find an elementary school in another country (due to the time difference, I think it will need to be in South/Central America) that would be interested in hooking up via Skype to participate in an on-line gym class (could also be exchange of music or art - I'm coordinating activities for the gym teacher). Kids here in Ann Arbor would demonstrate/teach an activity they commonly perform in gym class with a similar class in another country, and vice versa. Class time would be no longer than 30 minutes (maybe 20 minutes for the activity and 5-10 minutes to exchange questions/answers).

Might you be able to point me in the right direction. Having 3 adopted children from Guatemala, I have a little bias toward skyping with a Guatemalan school. :)

Thanks for considering,
